Is the Existing Base Suitable for Resin?

A stable tarmac or concrete base may sometimes be retained when it is sound, appropriately detailed and at workable levels. Cracks, settlement and weak edges can transfer through or damage the resin layer.

The inspection looks for:

• loose tarmac;
• concrete movement joints;
